We have been buying, selling and managing farmland since 1987,
for ourselves and other investors. Our focus is prime farmland
located in West Central Missouri as well as Northeast Kansas.
We define prime farmland as those properties that are visually
attractive with highly productive soils, and good access.
We focus on a specific geologic region. This region borders the
Missouri River from the Kansas/Nebraska border to Columbia Missouri.
The area consists predominantly of loess soils.
Retreating glaciers left fine particles along the Missouri River
Valley. These particles were wind blown thousands of years ago
and deposited in certain areas. Some of these loess deposits are
over 90 feet deep. These soils are highly desirable for farming.
After the loess was deposited, thick prairie grass some over
6 feet tall with roots as deep grew and died back over thousands
of years leaving the soil rich in organic matter.
